Two new Peter Parker suits

Update 1.005 adds two free suits for Peter Parker:

  1. Fresh Start — a new design that received player feedback adjustments in the follow-up hotfix 1.005.001.
  2. Marvel Comics Classic — based on the classic comic book design.

Both suits are available immediately after updating with no additional unlock requirements.

PS5 Pro Enhanced PSSR

The update adds Enhanced PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) support for PS5 Pro owners. PSSR is Sony's AI-powered upscaling technology, and the enhanced version delivers sharper image quality with reduced artefacting compared to the original PSSR implementation.

This is particularly relevant for Spider-Man 2, which targets 4K resolution during fast-paced web-swinging sequences where image clarity matters.

Power Saver mode

A new Power Saver mode reduces the console's power consumption by adjusting visual settings. This is useful for thermal management and energy efficiency, particularly on PS5 where the console can run warm during extended play sessions.
