Release calendar: what we are writing next

Small sites do not beat the big wikis on evergreen terms. They beat them in the 48 hours after a game ships, while the wiki is still empty. This is the list of titles we are prepping for, and the reason each one earned a slot.

Figures are a snapshot as of 2026-10-03

How a title gets on this list

Three checks, all of them required. If a release fails any one of them it does not get a slot, no matter how big the game is.

  1. Search intent is specific. Players arrive with a concrete problem — a boss, a stuck quest, a crash, a missable. Browsing intent does not convert.
  2. The result page is beatable. Either no authority site has covered the term, or the ones that have are stale for the current patch.
  3. There is a time hook. Launch, a DLC, a difficulty rework, a big balance patch. Without a clock on it, a small site waits months for a ranking it may never get.

Wishlist figures are GameDiscoverCo's 2026-release ranking as reported 2026-08-04; Steam follow counts are 3DM's 2026-10 release table. Both are point-in-time snapshots and move daily — refresh before publishing. Wishlist counts measure pre-order interest, not sales or players, and Steam follows are a weaker signal again. Treat the ranking as a directional indicator of where attention will be, not a forecast of revenue.
