How the Sprites system works
Geno's Cursed Cartridge transforms the island with Fortnitemares Sprites — collectible passive modifiers that you select before each match. Each Sprite changes one aspect of your gameplay loop, from movement to combat to survivability. Think of them as a lightweight class system layered on top of the standard loadout.
Tier list
S tier (prioritise in competitive modes)
Spooky Dash. A charged dash with roughly 15 metres of range and a 30-second cooldown. This is the strongest Sprite for solo play because it gives you a rotation tool that does not consume a consumable slot. Use it to close gaps on a downed opponent or escape a bad position in endgame.
Vampire. Heal-on-hit is universally strong. The restore is small per instance but scales with fire rate, making SMG and shotgun loadouts the best carriers. In squads, the sustain lets you stay in fights longer without burning med items.
A tier (situational but strong)
Ghost. Brief invisibility after a kill is powerful in third-party scenarios but useless if you are the one being third-partied. Best in endgame where every elimination matters.
Deer. Melee-focused, which limits its competitive value in BR but makes it the top pick for Horde Rush where melee weapons are more viable.
B tier (fun, not competitive)
Pumpkin. Explosive projectiles are entertaining but the damage falloff and self-damage risk make it unreliable for serious play.
